These terms apply to bookings for Aurora Lounge, operated by Epic North Tour Experiences Inc. By completing a booking, you agree to the following terms.

Pricing and payment

The advertised price is CAD $159 per person, plus GST. Full payment is required when booking. Guests must be at least 16 years old.

Cancellation policy

Bookings may be cancelled for a full refund up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure, and no-shows, are non-refundable.

Multi-night discount

Guests booking two or more Aurora Lounge evenings may receive a 15% discount using the promotional code MOREAURORA15.

If part of a discounted multi-night booking is cancelled, the remaining night or nights will be repriced at the rate that would have applied to the number of nights retained. The refund will be adjusted accordingly.

For example, two nights at $159 each total $318 before GST. After the 15% discount, the total is $270.30 before GST. If one night is cancelled within the permitted cancellation period, the retained night is repriced at $159 and the refund is $111.30 before applicable tax adjustments.

The multi-night offer has no stated expiry date but may be changed or withdrawn for future bookings. It cannot be exchanged for cash.

Aurora and weather conditions

The northern lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. Tours operate in cloudy weather unless Aurora Lounge cancels the evening for safety or operational reasons.

No refund is provided solely because of clouds, weather conditions, or the aurora not appearing. Guests wishing to try another evening may ask their guide about any return-night discount and available dates.

Pickup and transportation

Pickup is provided from accommodations within the downtown Whitehorse area, normally between 9:45 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Guests must provide accurate pickup information and be ready during the communicated pickup window.

Aurora Lounge is approximately 20 minutes south of Whitehorse and is not open to independent vehicle access. Guests cannot drive themselves to the property.

The evening normally includes approximately three hours at Aurora Lounge, with return to downtown Whitehorse at approximately 2:00 a.m. The stay may be extended when the aurora is active.

One earlier return shuttle may be available during the evening. Its timing and operation are subject to guest demand and operational conditions and cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Guest responsibilities

Guests must dress appropriately for Yukon winter conditions. Winter clothing is not supplied. Guests are responsible for following instructions from guides, behaving respectfully, and taking reasonable care around the fireplace, outdoor fire, snow, ice and other natural hazards.

Aurora Lounge is not wheelchair accessible. Guests must be able to enter and exit the passenger vans independently.

Food and beverages

Complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, tea and s’mores are available throughout the evening. Beer, wine and Baileys are available for purchase from the licensed bar. Alcohol may be enjoyed around the outdoor fire where permitted by staff.

Guests must follow all applicable liquor laws and staff instructions. Service may be refused to anyone who appears intoxicated or behaves unsafely.

Photography

Guests may bring cameras and may use the available tripods free of charge. Guides can provide basic photography assistance and may take complimentary photographs of guests using professional cameras.

When photographs are taken, they will normally be made available for guests to download through the linked online gallery. Availability, image quality and successful capture cannot be guaranteed.

Changes and cancellations by Aurora Lounge

Aurora Lounge may change, delay or cancel an evening when reasonably necessary because of unsafe conditions, transportation problems, staffing issues or other circumstances beyond our control.

If Aurora Lounge cancels an evening, affected guests will be offered an appropriate rebooking or refund. Aurora Lounge is not responsible for unrelated expenses such as accommodation, flights or other travel arrangements.

Personal belongings

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Aurora Lounge is not responsible for items that are lost, damaged or left in a vehicle or at the property, except where required by law.
